Vancouver, B.C. - Tower Resources Ltd. (“Tower” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), that Mr. Garett Macdonald has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Tower. Mr. Macdonald is currently a Technical Advisor for Tower with over 20 years of industry experience as a mining engineer including an extensive background in project development and mine operations. He has been involved with several public companies at both management and board level and has managed large technical programs through concept, feasibility and into construction. After roles in mine operations and engineering with senior Canadian mining firms Teck, Placer Dome and Suncor Energy, Mr. Macdonald served as the Vice President of Operations for Rainy River Resources prior to the sale of Rainy River to New Gold in 2013.  Mr. Macdonald holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Western University – Ivey Business School and a Bachelor in Engineering (Mining) from Laurentian University. 

The Company is also pleased to announce, subject to the approval of the Exchange, that Ms. Lesia Burianyk has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Ms. Burianyk is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. Ms. Burianyk was previously employed as an audit manager at a leading Canadian accounting firm where she specialized in the mining industry. She has significant experience with financial reporting requirements and providing corporate services.

Mr. Macdonald and Ms. Burianyk succeed Mr. Steven Vanry as director and CFO respectively. Mr. Vanry has resigned to focus on his various other business interests. Tower would like to thank Mr. Vanry for his many years of service to the Company and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.

The Board of Directors of Tower is now comprised of Mr. Mark Vanry, Mr. Richard Wyman, Mr. Gerald Shields, Mr. Stuart Averill and Mr. Garett Macdonald.
